Job Responsibilties:
Timely action on PR's received from Works.
Send enquiries to suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers on commercial aspects.
Create import purchase orders in SAP MM module.
Analyze stock statements for imported RM & chemicals.
Send enquiries and place purchase orders.
Finalize service provider for EXW, FCA, FOB shipments.
Receive order confirmation, process down/ LC requests.
Communicate with import vendors.
Arrange customs duties, DEPB Licences at Ports.
Co-ordinate with CHA, transporters, Liners, Freight forwarders,
Break-bulk vessel agents, CFS's etc.
Ensure compliance to PCB, Customs, C.Excise rules etc. Send original bill of entry and service bills to Works. Tracking shipments from PR stage till GRN is made. Pass bills raised by CHA, CFS, Liners, Agents, Couriers etc. Settling quality & shortage claims; nullifying debit balances of import vendors, customs duties etc. Requirement of Technical Competencies. Good knowledge of import procedures, Customs & Central Excise formalities and MS-Office is mandatory. SAP knowledge is required. Requirement of Generic Competencies. Result-oriented, having positive attitude, willingness to learn, systems-driven and working in a team environment. |
