In FY 2005-06, APPM trained 4387 employees as compared to 3438 last year, a 28 percent growth over the previous year. The MDP has brought with it a sharp focus on safety related issues and hence, 50 percent of the training man-days were devoted to safety related programmes. This investment in training was positively reflected in increased efficiencies of overall operations during FY 2005-06.
